Pricey But Solid Investment

Date:April 26, 2012
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations, Good Quality
Cons: Expensive
"Space is limited in my apartment so I bought a 42" Sony specifically so I could mount it to the wall. I was a bit stunned at the cost but really wanted the tilt and swivel because I'm constantly trying to come up with creative ways to make the most out of all space available.
The instructions weren't the worst I've seen but having never mounted a tv before it was a bit of a puzzle. Once I got the brackets on the tv the rest was pretty basic. I had no trouble finding a stud where I wanted to place it and have actually mounted it in 2 other locations without any problem.
It's been 2 years now and it has more than paid for itself.

good enough

Date:October 30, 2011
Pros: Easy to Use, Meets Expectations, Good Quality
Cons: little pricier than another brand
"Instructions a little iffy, but overall it is a good product. gave plenty of screw sizes to find right fit. and the wall anchors did not break. the last tv mount i bought i had to purchase different anchors because they broke trying to mount it. this gave me more confidence in this mount that they didnt break."

Terrible

Date:October 9, 2011
Pros: Good Quality
Cons: Expensive, Difficult to Use, unable to use btwn studs
"Unless you have someone that has some carpentry skills, or a stud that is in the EXACT place that your mount will be, you need a different mount. I will be returning this one for one that can be mounted between studs."

Sorry for you difficult experience. Because the MF215 is rated to hold up to 60 lbs it does need to be mounted to wood studs. We recommend using a stud finder. You can also watch a step-by-step installation video for the MF215 by going to http://www.sanus.com/world/en/products/visionmount/full-motion-mount/MF215
